Building a sustainable future: What we’re proud of in 2025

Sustainability Report

At Gonvarri Stålteknik sustainability isn't just something we talk about once a year, it's something that we build into our business every day. As part of Gonvarri Industries, we’re proud to be aligned with a group that’s making real progress when it comes to people, planet and purpose.

The 2024 Sustainability Report from Gonvarri Industries is now live! It’s packed with achievements and initiatives that reflect a clear direction of travel: cleaner operations, safer workplaces, and more sustainable growth.

Here’s a look at what stood out to us, and how we’re playing our part in the transformation.

Group Wide Highlights

Decarbonisation That Delivers

Recognition That Matters

Gonvarri Industries was awarded a B rating by CPD and a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, placing it among the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide for sustainable performance.

Always Putting People First

In 2024, the group invested over €5 million in safety improvements, resulting in zero serious accidents across the year. The “People Growing Together” programme continues to support learning, inclusion, and employee wellbeing across every division.

Health, Safety & People

Sustainability at Gonvarri Stålteknik

As a key division within the group, Gonvarri Ståltekink is deeply aligned with these sustainability goals. Here’s how we’re contributing:

Greener Operations

We’ve implemented solar panel installations, insulation systems, and are actively electrifying our vehicle and forklift fleets to reduce our carbon footprint.

Sustainable Product Design

Our engineering teams are innovating with eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient storage systems, helping customers reduce their own environmental impact.

Community Engagement

From participating in local job fairs to supporting educational initiatives, our teams in Romania, Poland, and across Europe are committed to building stronger, more inclusive communities.
